Calvary Chapel Eastside Church in Bellevue - this is our home church and it is very "special needs" friendly.  Their website is www.calvarychapeleastside.com.  They have embraced Cody with the love of Christ and their love and support has transformed our lives.

Your local community center.  They often provide one on one child care for special needs children while you work out or take classes.  These programs are usually run through the Parks and Recreation depts.

Your local church.  If you have a special needs child, call a church you'd like to attend and request one on one supervision in the children's room during a church service.  I'm sure they would love to meet your needs, and it gives you and your spouse the chance to drop your child off (like regular people!) and walk into the sanctuary (like regular people!) and sit through a service together - alone!  What a concept!  Just give the church some notice because sometimes it takes awhile to find the volunteers to make this happen.  Calvary Chapel Eastside in Bellevue, Wa. is especially wonderful about embracing the special needs community.  I'd be happy to help facilitate childcare for you if you want to email me from this site.

www.churchhub.com  I HIGHLY recommend him - he is an amazing talent and has a special compassion for children as he is a father himself.  Having a website for your child will add so much - it is a way to eliminate having to make dozens of calls to keep people updated.  It is a way to request corporate prayer.  And for me it has provided hundreds of friendships with people I would never have met otherwise.  People email me from all over the world when they stumble upon this site.  It is the single smartest thing I've done since Cody's diagnosis.
