Hello and happy halloween to all!  The picture above is from tonight's Harvest Party that our church threw.  Our dear Pastor Robert managed to get nearly the only smiling photo of Cody I've had all year!  This is just a scan, I'll post the digital version when I get it.  But I had to share this one since it was such a thrill to get Cody looking so wonderful.  Many at the party commented that this was the first time seeing Cody since they'd prayed for him during his hospital stay with Swine flu.  It was nice to give everyon an eyefull of how wonderfully he's recovered.  We had a fun night - Cody tolerated the party fairly well (despite 1 decent sized seizure) - and Casey (as you can see) had a blast too!

Mr. Bob the Tomato (from Veggie Tales) was ready to party.  Before the party we took Casey around the neighborhood (Don and I switched off as Cody would rather be at home in his safety zone.)  Casey was just shocked that you can ring on people's doors - and they hand you candy!

Then once he got to the party, his jaw dropped at the sight of our friend Mili dressed as BOB!  Twins Tomatoes!

This is Mili, Casey and Carolyn.  Casey has always called Carolyn 'Carrot' because he could never get her name pronounced right.  So Carolyn ran with the idea!  And below, Casey ran into Bob's other half, Larry the Cucumber (in the form of Mili's husband Dan).  Casey thought that was just HYSTERICAL!  We were grateful for friends, neighbors, and the opportunity to give Cody a party experience where he was accepted and loved.  Happy Harvest everyone!  Love, Shawna
