Just a quick note to say Cody made it through surgery just fine today.  They started at 8am and he went into recovery at about 9:15.  He slept like a log till 1pm, then was up from 1p until now (10:30pm!)  He's in moderate pain - very fussy - and hating the hospital bed.  The morphine seems to just keep him awake which is frustrating.  But the wound looks nice and clean and the surgeon said the procedure went great.  So for that we are grateful.

thank you for all your notes and warm wishes and prayers - they mean so much.  I will keep you posted.  I'm getting lots of lessons on how to work this "G-Tube" - which is a bit overwhelming.  We can't wait to get him home - hopefully sometime tomorrow (Saturday.)
