CODY'S PANTS ARE TOO SMALL!  That means he must be gaining weight!  We are due for a weigh-in at Children's on Tuesday - and have been trying for 2 weeks to fatten him up.  Oh, this is a good sign!  If you only knew the history behind the 'too small pants.'  Prior to today, this was the only pair of pants that didn't fall down to his ankles from his weight loss.  This was the last pair that at least stayed up around his waist.  They're a pair of khackis.  So we were going to church today and I reached for these pants - and tried to snap the waist - and they were too tight!  YAY!  That means (hopefully) Cody can start graduating into the other pants that used to fit!  Oh I pray this is a turnaround - and that we will find out Tuesday that no feeding tube is needed.  I haven't done anything special for weight gain - other than adding 2 benecalories a day which are 330 calories each.  Must have done the trick.  Plus I know lots of prayer has gone up around this weight issue.

That's the good news.  Bad news is that Rumination Syndrome is back.  And so is eye poking.  Both self-stims have gradually returned the last couple of weeks.  And the last few days Cody must have tried to poke his eyes at least 50 times a day.  This is an old habit that I thought was in the past.  His eye Dr. was horrified.  And as for rumination syndrome - this is the worst (by far) self-stim we've encountered.  It's basically self-induced vomiting.  He sticks his hand down his throat to make himself barf.  Gross.  It's all gross.  For some reason these self-stims have returned in full force and our lives are insane because of them.  You literally can't look away from him for fear he's hurting himself or throwing up all over.  This life with Cody is literally a new fire (or return of an old fire) every day!

On the 'cute' front - this was Casey at church last week - he would NOT take his sunglasses off!  And he's in a snazzy track suit too.  This was him on his way to church:

And here's both boys at Grass Lawn Park - we rarely get them in a photo together - cuz we rarely get them near each other!  So this is precious to us!
