I'm sorry to say Cody has taken another turn for the worse.  He was sort of back on track last night - slept a few hours today and was a bit dazed and lethargic.  But about 1pm he kicked back in with some energy and did really well all night.  He had a nice dinner, drank a bunch, and seemed just fine.  And just now (10:30pm) he barfed about 3 bucketsworth on the bed, blankets, pillows as he lay next to me.  I can't imagine what this is.  Dr. Saneto's mito asst. called me today, bless her heart, to check in on him.  We are all keeping a close eye.  He still has no fever - and who knows if he has any other symptoms we can't see cuz he can't tell us.  But no runny nose, no cold symptoms....just vomit and lethargy.

I'm going to call our pediatrician tomorrow to see if this is going around.  Bless my husband - I ran into his room and said "CODY'S THROWING UP ALL OVER!" and he instantly springs from bed and begins to mobilize.  We washed Cody, changed his clothes, made him a bed on the floor....cleaned off all the bedding and put it in the washer...put fresh bedding on with towels.  It's shocking how quickly you respond to vomiting!

Please pray for Cody - he needs to rebound from this.  He is so skeletal and can't afford to keep vomiting all his food up!   And pray for me as I try to manage this while also caring for Casey.  We have a full day of therapy appts and more tomorrow that I'll need to figure out.  But most of all, I just want to see him fight back from this.

thanks,

shawna
